Mozy is just such a miracle.

Mo what, you ask? Mozy. It saved my ass.

It’s a free backup program- and the people don’t spam you. You get two GB for free . . and it was just the space I needed to back up MY critical files.

When my hard drive crashed over the weekend- I was freaking out because I hadn’t TESTED mozy. . .

Heh- I salvaged a hard drive from another machine, ran my pc’s restore disk, then went right to the mozy site.

I logged in and clicked restore . . and in a few minutes, the download of my hard drive’s critical files was ready. WHEW!

I would have lost the web site work I’d been doing for several clients . . but Mozy had automatically backed it all up for me.

I called my roomie and his bf into the room- to watch Jimmy Kimmel being rushed off the set in front of a live studio audience- apparently bitten by a poisionous snake.

Nope. Fucking May fools . . It was just a publicity stunt for his Grey’s Anatomy interviews.

Grey’s Anatomy sucks enough on its own- now it’s worse. His dumb ass is promoting them.

It’s too bad it didn’t REALLY bite him. At least it would have been an entertaining latenight offering by ABC.

Google does it again. They’re extremely creative. As long as you have a web-enabled cell phone, google will help your love life flourish.

I thought I’d give it a try, (Yes, I’m happily partnered, but I’m a sucker for free food.) and I so, I did. Adam was a great, (and CUTE) guy.
Google’s partnered with various restaurant networks, etc. . and All I had to do was give the folks my DateID number, and watch contextual ads on my phone every now and then.

I don’t know HOW they do it, but they’re genius.
